An All-Mountain Ski with Power and Playfulness
For roughly a decade, the Nordica Santa Ana has been a go-to choice for female all-mountain skiers, known for its blend of stability, versatility, and that signature "hard-charging" feel. Now, for the 2025 season, the Santa Ana has received a substantial update, along with the Enforcer line.Introducing the 2025 Nordica Santa Ana Ski Lineup
Designed to offer an even smoother, more versatile, and slightly more playful ride, the new Santa Ana remains a powerful ski capable of taking on any terrain - while now being just a bit more enjoyable off-piste and at slower speeds.
Here's an inside look at what Nordica has done to bring the Santa Ana into 2025 with new technology, design changes, and updated features.
Enhanced Core Construction for Maximum Versatility
One of the key elements of the Santa Ana that remains unchanged is its woodcore construction, reinforced by a single layer of Terrain Specific Metal (TSM). TSM is tailored to the ski's width: narrower models feature more metal, enhancing power and stability for on-trail skiing, while the wider models have less metal, making them easier to handle off-piste and on softer snow.
However, new for 2025 is the addition of the elastomer Pulse Core. This innovative material, an elastomer, which is a rubbery substance known for its flexibility and shape retention, works wonders on reducing vibrations, delivering a smoother ride and an improved response. The Pulse Core is layered in the underfoot area of the ski with the woodcore and TSM to create the new TSM Pulse Core. The new TSM Pulse Core provides extra power for turning, ensuring a snappy and dynamic skiing experience that's comfortable no matter the conditions.
Nordica has also updated the tip construction by reducing ABS plastic and extending the lightweight woodcore into a tapered tip design. This modification lightens the ski's feel and enhances maneuverability, especially noticeable when navigating through varying terrain or tackling tight turns.
Whether you're carving through hard-packed snow, slicing through crud, or gliding over powder, the Santa Ana offers a balanced, powerful experience.
Updated Shape: More Rocker Equals More Fun!
Nordica has made slight adjustments to the Santa Ana's shape, updating the waist width options to 87, 92, 97, and 102. These replace the previous widths of 88, 93, 98, and the now-retired 104 "Free" model. For those who loved the 104 Free's playful, freeride feel, fear not-the new Nordica "Unleashed" series offers a wider, lighter range of skis designed specifically for freeride skiing.
One of the most exciting changes for 2025 is the increase in tail rocker. With more rocker in the tail, the Santa Ana offers a more playful, fun ride that allows for easier turns, especially in softer snow. This added rocker doesn't sacrifice stability at high speeds, but it does provide an added sense of freedom and maneuverability for those who like to explore every inch of the mountain.
Who Are the 2025 Santa Ana Skis For?
The new Santa Ana continues to be a dream women's ski for all-mountain skiers who crave stability and speed across varied terrain. Whether you're carving through hard-packed snow, slicing through crud, or gliding over powder, the Santa Ana offers a balanced, powerful experience. With waist widths that cater to different snow conditions and a construction that's equally strong on- and off-trail, these skis are designed to perform anywhere on the mountain.
