A supple elastic fit band at the back of the helmet merges with fixed-position straps; which adjust to cradle your head when you set the system to one of the three different circumference settings.

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order.
