Impact is Rundle's world cup pole. The shafts are constructed with the stiffest carbon available to maximize power transfer and minimize swing weight. The quick change handle/strap system offers convenience during training but can be disabled for maximum security by installing an optional set screw. Most precise high performance boot I have ever skied. For a plug boot it is surprisingly comfortable. Body movements are transferred to the skis with precision and quickness.
This is probably the most comfortable ski boot that I have ever tried on! The design is superb!! I wish that I had tried the Fischer boot long ago. Better late than never!!
However, I need to try one size smaller to clarify that this is the boot that I can keep.
Good retention, transmission and responsiveness on a number of different snow conditions. Still a little difficult to get out of at the end of the day but does not freeze up with changing temperatures and wet 'powder' conditions.
