Backcountry kickers, side hits galore, fresh cord -- the ALL-NEW K2 Embassy has your back for wherever you take it. Engineered with versatility in mind, this directional all-mountain snowboard has become an instant classic amongst our staff and team riders.
The heart of the Embassy snowboard is the BAP Core, consisting of Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia - sustainably harvested to provide a smooth feel and snappy flex that’s built to stand the test of time. The Combination Camber Profile adds just a bit of rocker to the nose and tail for a predictable feel in deep snow and smooth butters.
We sandwich the core with ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for high-speed stability and edge hold through choppy terrain and a little bit of taper for a classic feel that gets you out of your turns with silky precision.

A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species.
ICG™ 10 Biax Carbon Glass:
Integrating Carbon Fiber stringers that run the length of the board into our fiberglass increases the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.
Hybridtech™ Construction:
Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech™ is the lightest weight, most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess sidewall material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass and decrease the swing weight of the board is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary. I like how I won’t have to tie my boots anymore and it’s just twist and go. Everything looks good and feels good the only thing I would suggest would be that if you want more comfortable boots then maybe go for something different if your just using them for shorter runs, then this is as good as it gets
I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!
My son 18, who the skis are for has been sleeping with them since they have arrived! Too early to try but they look and feel good! Awesome graphic's, light weight.

Good retention, transmission and responsiveness on a number of different snow conditions. Still a little difficult to get out of at the end of the day but does not freeze up with changing temperatures and wet 'powder' conditions.
