💼 Store Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Store Manager to join our team! This position is available at both our Chelsea, QC and Bank & Heron (Ottawa, ON) locations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for customer service
  • Bilingual (French & English) required for Chelsea location
  • Knowledgeable in both Nordic & Alpine skiing
  • Service shop skills considered an asset
  • Previous retail management experience preferred

⛷️ SKI SHOP TECHNICIAN

Ski Service Shop Technician

As a service shop technician at Kunstadt Sports you are a crucial part of our team. This position requires you to repair, problem solve and assist our customers (and sometimes sales staff!) with their equipment related issues! This is a fun and challenging position that allows you to share your love of skis or bikes with customers and co-workers in a real shop environment.

Responsibilities:

  • To work in a fast paced and fun environment in our service shop
  • Ski, snowboard, Nordic servicing (wax, base repairs, edge sharpening, binding mount/adjustment)
  • Provide excellent customer service experiences and quality service repairs
  • Responsible for properly taking in all service work including correctly filling out service work orders, scheduling an appropriate amount of repairs and completing those repairs in a timely manner.
  • Advises and assists customers with their product selection without bias.
  • Communicates with store manager regarding repair and warranty part needs.
  • Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the store manager.

Skill Requirements:

  • Previous ski mechanic experience and ski knowledge is a must.
  • Ability to be autonomous, prioritize workday, multitask and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work both independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and take direction well.
  • Ability to create an excellent customer and team experience.
  • Good time management skills.
  • A sense of urgency and ability to hustle.
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
