A snug 98mm last and a women's-specific flex profile make the Salomon S/Pro Alpha BOA 105 W one of the more performance-oriented women's all-mountain boots out there. Built around the same ExoDrive construction and Powerlink lower pivot as its men's counterpart, this is a stiff race-ready boot tuned for skiers who want precise edge engagement and direct power transmission without the harshness of a 115. The cuff-mounted BOA dial replaces a top buckle, giving micro-adjustable upper-shell control alongside two lower-shell buckles.

I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!
