While the mountain offers plenty of lines, the Armada Sicko Snowboard prefers to make it's own. New to Armada, this full tapered directional snowboard is built for riders who treat the resort map as a loose suggestion. A lively Pop-Lownia Bamboo Core, responsive Bamboosters, and a powerful Triax/Biax glass layup provide the precision to charge hard and the board feel to get creative along the way. Added float keeps it surfing on deeper days, Impact Plates help absorb the consequences of your decisions, and a premium Sintered Base ensures you're never lacking speed. Equal parts freeride machine and chaos generator, the Sicko rewards riders who see lines where nobody else is looking.
- Traditional Camber with Early Rise Nose: A hybrid shape that pairs traditional camber underfoot with early rise rocker in the nose. This shape enhances float in powder.
- Flex Meter: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
- Tapered Directional: This shape has a nose that is slightly wider than the tail. This design shifts more volume and float to the front, providing a more surfy and dynamic ride.
- Pop-Lownia Bamboo Core: Lightweight, snappy core for all-mountain freestyle riding.
- Triax/Biax Blend Glass: Woven fiberglass blend that provides an ideal balance of durability, torsional stiffness, and playful flex.
- Bamboosters: Pop-enhancing inserts designed to provide incredible snap and response.
- Titanal Impact Plates: Metal reinforcements placed directly under the bindings to absorb impact and chatter.

I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!
