- The two‐piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.
- All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's Integrated Mips‐equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. Just what I was looking for, that jacket to wear in between the cooler Spring/Fall seasons and the no-jacket season. The slimmer fit doesn't catch the wind like my previous jacket.
