Are two BOA®s really better than one? For many skiers, the upper cuff BOA® closure offers a smooth and even distribution of pressure and degree of fine tuning that's hard to achieve with a buckle system. If you're in this camp, the new Atomic Hawx Prime 110 Dual BOA Ski Boots are sure to please you. A mid-stiff 110 flex is ideal for all-mountain exploration from groomers to trees, and the 100mm Prime last is one of the most successful in history.
- Last: 100 mm: Designed for average width feet with average and slightly taller insteps.
- Adaptive Fit Cuff System: These boots come with a special spoiler in the back of the cuff. If you want a classic, cozy fit around the calf you can just leave the spoiler in. If you want more volume you can take the spoiler out. This makes the boot cuff slightly lower at the back, more tuliped and more open (equivalent to one cuff size larger). It's quick, easy and you don't need tools.
- Energy Backbone: Reinforced along the lines of force at the rear of the cuff
- Flex: 110: A medium-stiff flex for solid power and response.
- Mimic Silver Liner: Features Asymmetric Liner Construction with an asym tongue, toe box, collar shape and high-quality lining materials.
- Ankle Lock
- 3D Stretch Toe Box: Asymmetrically shaped for left and right, the new 3D Stretch Toe Box takes first fit and customization potential to the next level. Its ‘Big Toe Friendly’ construction maximizes the liner’s available length allowing for a little extra stretch when important millimeters are required to achieve the perfect fit.

- Prolite: Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
- Energy Backbone: A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.

I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!
