The K2 Gateway Pop marries a classic directional twin share and a progressive Carbon Camber Profile, creating the ultimate for-everyone board that’s perfect for ripping down an open powder field, perfectly spaced tree runs or your favorite line the park.
We repurposed the design of our top-selling Gateway board and added camber in between the inserts for extra pop on takeoffs, and tons of stability while carving at high speeds, giving it a confidence-boosting, tried-and-true feeling. Its aspen core provides a snappy and playful feel with a mid-flex for quick edge changes through sketchy terrain and pressing on boxes and butters.
We use our ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for edge hold through choppy terrain. We’ve added an Extruded 2000 base to provide a smooth and durable feel that’ll have you leading your crew to the next secret stash.
The all-mountain Gateway POP packs premium tech into an affordable package for leveling up your skillset on any terrain the resort has to offer.

I started skiing last year and jumped into these this season by recommendation from Kundstadt. They are absolutely wonderful to steer, not as rigid as the expert ones, and they give me excellent control, short stopping and turning capabilities, while letting me go as fast as I want. I tried other models renting and so far these are the best. I'm smiling in the picture.
I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. Most precise high performance boot I have ever skied. For a plug boot it is surprisingly comfortable. Body movements are transferred to the skis with precision and quickness.
This is probably the most comfortable ski boot that I have ever tried on! The design is superb!! I wish that I had tried the Fischer boot long ago. Better late than never!!
However, I need to try one size smaller to clarify that this is the boot that I can keep.
Good retention, transmission and responsiveness on a number of different snow conditions. Still a little difficult to get out of at the end of the day but does not freeze up with changing temperatures and wet 'powder' conditions.
