Marker 2024 Duke PT 16 Binding

The Duke PT 16 (DIN 6-16) is Royal Family´s top model and sets another milestone. It combines the superior functionality and downhill performance of a Jester with comfortable uphill properties of a pin binding. An absolute highlight is the innovative Ride & Hike toe. For walking mode the upper part is simply unlocked and tilted forward, uncovering the pin binding. To save swing weight the upper jaw part can be taken off and stored in the rucksack. The multi functional Lock & Walk unit automatically locks the brakes and provides a 10° climbing aid. For downhill mode the front jaw section is clicked back onto the base plate being quadruple secured by the Auto Quad Lock technology. Now the toe piece works just like an alpine toe with all of its advantages! The heel is the latest generation of Interpivot 3 freeride heels with lightweight magnesium housing and improved stiffness. The low height of 24 mm allows for direct power transmission and fast edge changes. Thanks to Sole.ID all Duke PT are compatible to alpine, touring and GripWalk boots.

Toe
Ride and Hike Toe – Delivers the downhill performance expected from Royal Family bindings along with full release function and pin technology for optimum uphill performance.

Convertible Toe – Option to remove the Ride Toe and save 300 grams per binding for hiking.

Auto Quad Lock Technology – In Ride Mode, toe piece locks itself at 4 different points automatically when stepping into the binding.

Stainless Steel AFD Gliding Plate – MARKER bindings are equipped with a movable AFD (anti friction device) supporting a precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application enhance optimized functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.

Anti Ice Rail – Use the metal rail to scratch off ice and snow below your boot sole.

Heel
Inter Pivot 3 Freeride Heel – The newest generation Inter Pivot heel offers easier step-in performance. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases. Magnesium heel bracket delivers the most power transmission and energy absorption.

Tour Mode

Lock and Walk Brake – Integrated brake lock, offers 0˚ and 10˚ climbing aid in walk mode.

Boot Compatibility

Sole.ID – Marker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to both ISO 5355 (Alpine) and ISO 9523 (AT) boot sole norms, as well as GripWalk and WTR equipped boots.

Shipping done using regular shipping options may take up to 9 days to ship depending on location.

• Once your order is received we will prepare it for shipping. Shipping time at checkout is calculated from the moment we ship the item (Shipping is done mon-fri ). Some items may need to come from one of our 4 locations and may take time to arrive at our warehouse to ship.
• Once you order is ready to be shipped or picked up we will send you an email notification.
• Xpress shipping options time apply from time of shipment not from order date (ie. if items needs to be procured from store locations they may not ship for a couple of days, at which point the Xpress time will apply from when we create shipping label).
• We currently only ship within Canada. If you wish to purchase a product outside of Canada please contact us and we may be able to provide a solution for you.
• We do not ship oversized items (bikes, some skis etc.) If you require shipping for oversized items let us know and we may be able to make arrangements for you.

• We use carrier calculated shipping rates. All rates are provided from the respective courier company.
