The Nordica Dobermann JR SLJ ski is a junior slalom race ski designed for developing athletes working on quick timing and clean turn transitions. It delivers fast edge engagement and a smooth, predictable feel through tight slalom courses.
An updated Energy 2 Ti construction pairs a wood core with a full-length metal layer to create a stable yet easy-to-flex platform. This helps younger racers initiate turns more easily while maintaining strong ski-snow contact through rapid direction changes.
The Marker Junior Race Plate enhances power transfer and keeps the ski responsive underfoot. Smaller sizes use a two-piece plate design to preserve natural flex, helping lighter athletes maintain balance and rhythm as they progress.

I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!
