The Marker Race XCell 12 Race Ski Bindings are the bindings that some U16 racers will use but mostly U14 and younger racers. This race ski binding is for use on Volkl, Blizzard and Nordica race skis.
With Excell technology and the Twincam X (TCX) heel design, the Marker Race X-cell 12 is the go-to binding for U12 and U14 racers needing the ultimate precision and power transmission.
Just like the others in the bunch, the Marker Race X-Cell 12 binding is a force to be reckoned with. The X-Cell 12 binding delivers incredible power transmission from boot to ski allowing for the racer to compete with skill and grace in even the worst course conditions.

I started skiing last year and jumped into these this season by recommendation from Kundstadt. They are absolutely wonderful to steer, not as rigid as the expert ones, and they give me excellent control, short stopping and turning capabilities, while letting me go as fast as I want. I tried other models renting and so far these are the best. I'm smiling in the picture.
I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. Most precise high performance boot I have ever skied. For a plug boot it is surprisingly comfortable. Body movements are transferred to the skis with precision and quickness.
This is probably the most comfortable ski boot that I have ever tried on! The design is superb!! I wish that I had tried the Fischer boot long ago. Better late than never!!
However, I need to try one size smaller to clarify that this is the boot that I can keep.
Good retention, transmission and responsiveness on a number of different snow conditions. Still a little difficult to get out of at the end of the day but does not freeze up with changing temperatures and wet 'powder' conditions.
