In keeping with its commitment to innovation, ORTLIEB has introduced another PVC-free line of products made of a polyurethane-coated polyester fabric. The base fabric of the products in the Free Line is coated with polyurethane in a manner that ensures lasting waterproof qualities. The result is a waterproof and durable canvas material that is as outstanding as the conventional ORTLIEB canvas material when it comes to durability and service life. The products in the Free Line are available in classic black and two other appealing colours.
The PVC-free version of the proven ORTLIEB Back-Roller was developed for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts looking to avoid PVC entirely. This rear pannier bag with a roll closure offers ultimate practicality for all of your bike tours and weekly grocery-shopping ventures, especially on account of its generous payload. Thanks to its waterproof exterior, easy-to-clean interior and shoulder-bag function, the Back-Roller Free is ideal for all who would like to use their bikes despite having things to carry. With the Quick-Lock2.1 system, the bags attach to any bike rack with a tube diameter of up to 16 mm. Larger hooks (e.g. for e-bikes) are available separately.

I like how I won’t have to tie my boots anymore and it’s just twist and go. Everything looks good and feels good the only thing I would suggest would be that if you want more comfortable boots then maybe go for something different if your just using them for shorter runs, then this is as good as it gets
I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!

Good retention, transmission and responsiveness on a number of different snow conditions. Still a little difficult to get out of at the end of the day but does not freeze up with changing temperatures and wet 'powder' conditions.
