The Shins Comp is an ergonomic and padded shin guard. Constructed from carbon fiber- reinforced TPE, and containing 10% PTFE, the durable, stiff and lightweight protectors are designed to minimize friction when hitting a gate, thereby enhancing a speedier passage through the gates. The protectors are lined with EVA padding for comfort and feature robust Velcro straps so they stay securely in place on every run. Cutting marks are included on the shield so that the length can be adjusted for a personal fit.

I started skiing last year and jumped into these this season by recommendation from Kundstadt. I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. Most precise high performance boot I have ever skied. For a plug boot it is surprisingly comfortable. Body movements are transferred to the skis with precision and quickness.
This is probably the most comfortable ski boot that I have ever tried on! The design is superb!! I wish that I had tried the Fischer boot long ago. Better late than never!!
However, I need to try one size smaller to clarify that this is the boot that I can keep.
Good retention, transmission and responsiveness on a number of different snow conditions. Still a little difficult to get out of at the end of the day but does not freeze up with changing temperatures and wet 'powder' conditions.
