Nordic Ski Size Guide/ Info
Your height and weight are both important factors when selecting the correct nordic ski for you. To find the best ski you should begin by determining the height of the ski you should be skiing on. With this information, you will have multiple skis to choose from. Using the chart below, you should choose the ski that best suits your weight at the correct height.
Ideal Height
Classic Skis: The ideal classic ski will be 10-30 cm above the skier's height.
Skate Skis: An ideal skate ski can range from equivalent height to the skier to 15 cm taller.
Why you may want a ski on the short side for your height:
- You are a newer, less experienced skier
- You want to be able to easily maneuver your skis and turn quickly
Why you might want a ski to be on the long side for your height:
- You are a more advanced skier
- You want your skis to be faster and do not need extra maneuverability

Description
Description
Energize your classic stride with the Rossignol R-Skin LTD/Control Step In waxless cross-country skis for adults. Designed for sporty skiers, the premium wood core combines pleasant flex with good responsiveness, for an efficient stride. The replaceable R-Skin mohair push zone provides solid push and glide performance in most conditions, with no grip wax required. What size skis to choose? First of all, you have to take your weight into account. Then, you can adjust your choice according to your technical level and your progress objectives. Please refer to the recommendations table to find the ski length that suits you. In-store advisors can help you make the right choice. Are you hesitating between 2 ski sizes? The choice of a ski is based on the weight of the skier; the addition of a backpack or a sled must be taken into account. The size of the skier is not a determining factor in the choice of ski size. If you are between 2 sizes, a shorter ski will have better thrust, but may be slower.
