The S/LAB SHIFT² 16 MN 3-Part Power Heel is engineered for maximum shock absorption, offering 16 mm of elastic travel. Easy Climbing Aid ensures easy switch with youre poles between climbing aid positions. The Power Block AFD is a new micrometric, height-adjustable AFD with a single-block aluminum insert that supports 30% more lateral stiffness compared to previous generations. The S/LAB SHIFT² 16 MN has a sliding toe pedal mounted on a spring that allows any normed boot to release out of the binding in case of a lateral fall.

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order.
