The 2027 Salomon Equipe JR SL is a junior slalom race ski built for young racers developing fast, confident short turns and precise gate-to-gate performance. Inspired by Salomon's race program, it delivers the quick edge engagement, strong grip, and energetic feel needed for training and junior competition.
A Full Poplar Woodcore paired with Double Ti reinforcement creates a responsive ski that remains stable on firm snow without sacrificing agility. Full Sandwich Sidewalls maximize edge contact for dependable grip, while the full camber On-Piste Profile keeps the entire effective edge engaged for crisp turn initiation and consistent performance through every slalom turn.

I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order. I flew home on my now very happy bicycle. THANKS, ERIC!
