BOA closure and a wide-volume last share top billing on the Tecnica Mach BOA HV 120. The high-volume option in Tecnica's BOA-equipped all-mountain line uses a polyurethane shell, a roomy 103mm last, a 120 flex, and a single BOA dial on the lower shell paired with traditional cuff buckles. Advanced skiers with wider feet get an aggressive boot that wraps the forefoot more evenly than any 4-buckle setup can manage.
- Flex: 120: A stiff flex for advanced to expert skiers.
- Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. Liner: C.A.S. liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and great heel hold. The dual density micro-cell material is durable, easy to customize, and has a low pack-out rate maintaining a great fit over a longer period of time. For unmatched personal customization the C.A.S. liner can be thermo-molded, punched, and ground.

- Shell: Polyurethane
- Quick Instep: The instep material is softer making stepping in and out easy and avoiding unnecessary pain, especially at low temperatures.
- Buckles: 2 Micro Adjustable Aluminum Cuff Buckles
- BOA® Fit System Lower Closure: A burly new BOA® knob and cable system replaces the bottom two buckles for more comfort over the top of the foot, precise micro-adjustment of tension, and better distribution of pressure on top of the instep.

I’ve only skied on them twice, last Friday under very hard groomed conditions and then this Monday under progressively softening conditions, the skis performed very well both days !

I'd toppled over this morning and, well into my ride, realized I'd knocked my front brake cable out of its housing. I brought it into the Bank and Heron location and met Eric. He mended the brake, then went on to clean my very dirty chain, adjusted my rear brake and gear mechanisms and sold me some chain cleaning fluid - all in good humour and in short order.
